Hickory's 45WDG rotisserie is the ultimate European-styled merchandiser. The 45WDG is designed specifically for upscale, gourmet operations where merchandising is vital. It roasts products to perfection while providing an unsurpassed point-of-purchase display. By placing the unit in a prominent location, where the consumer can see the succulent product, smell the delicious aromas, and hear the sizzle, you are actually performing a food show that will complement any retail food operation. Its versatility allows the operator to cook on either half of the unit without co-mingling fats. The unit uses standard spits for poultry and roasts, and basket spits for turkey breasts, ribs, whole fish, and brochettes.

In addition to the all Stainless Steel Model, the unit is available in a Black & Stainless (BS) motif, or a Black & Brass (BB) motif as shown above, to accentuate its sizzle. The unit is also available in electric. Accordion side access doors can be supplied upon request.

Cooking: Infrared heat, provided by ceramic radiants which glow red from the gas generated flame, cooks product faster than any other method. Six lineal feet of up-front display provide a capacity of 45 chickens every 55 minutes. The 45 WDG also accommodates roasts, ducks, turkeys, ribs, fish, brochettes, chicken parts, roast potatoes, and whole pig. The user can choose either convenient basket loading or the ultimate self-basting capability of rotating spits.
Merchandising: The interior cooking area is lit by flood lamps which attractively illuminate the product, without glare, allowing complete public viewing. Two units can be placed side by side, doubling capacity while creating a 12 foot wall of rotating rotisserie action. Sliding, tempered glass panels allow clear viewing with the added security of a heat barrier.
